Free NHL Hockey Pick Today: Vegas Golden Knights -125
The Sabres have been terrific but they're visiting Vegas at the right time. The Golden Knights have won consecutive games, outscoring Pittsburgh and Chicago by a combined score of 10-2.
Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy commented: "We're not chasing the game nearly as much. It's a lot easier to play that way."
Vegas goalie Adin Hill, off his first shutout in a year, added: "I feel like our game is trending in the right direction. So we just have to keep building it and get ready for the playoffs, keep stacking wins."
Playing with revenge from a loss at Buffalo earlier this month, look for the Knights to "keep stacking wins" for another day.

Free NHL Hockey Pick Today: Buffalo Sabres Total Over 2.5 (-165)
23 Buffalo at Las Vegas
The Sabres now sit just two points behind the Hurricanes for first place in the eastern conference, with a game in hand. It’s been an incredible turnaround for a team that hasn’t been to the playoffs since before Carmine Bianco lost his hair. Buffalo is on an amazing 17-2-1 run when taking to the road. This contest opens up a four game west coast trip through Vegas, San Jose, Los Angeles and Anaheim. Four games in six days. A very tough road indeed. Buffalo has something the Golden Knights don’t have, the third best goalie tandem in the league. These two teams played exactly two weeks ago, where we backed the Sabres in a 3-2 home victory. Buffalo took an early lead in that game, then had to fight off Vegas to survive.
Both teams have had the last two days off, which is very much needed at this time of the year. Adin Hill has gotten the call in goal as of late, and he has been up to the task. Allowing just four total goals in the last three games. The Golden Knight offense seems to be finally breaking through, with ten goals scored the last two games. The passing has been much cleaner as Mark Stone has returned to the lineup. This club is just so much better on the ice with the captain suited up.
Buffalo has scored three goals or more in seven straight road games. Vegas has struggled all season against young fast teams. Let’s take a strong look at the Sabres team total over 2 1/2.
