That Texas Tech team that just crushed Iowa State also did much of the same right here to the Cats a few weeks ago. If you want to have a chance at defeating this Wildcats team you need to do a nice job on the boards, force turnovers and convert your long-range shots. Iowa State has done a really good job this season in forcing turnovers and they also shoot the ball very well from behind the arc. The Cyclones ability to drain shots from long-range should keep them within the number here. Our power numbers project a closer contest than the oddsmakers number. We have Iowa State coming off a huge loss at home where they were favored and the Wildcats coming off two big wins have this number inflated a little. Arizona might struggle to find that same type of intensity for this game which should allow the Cyclones to keep this game well within the oddsmakers number tonight.
