The PLAY: Dennis Schroder Assists Over 3.5 (-111)
We’re looking at an affordable price for a short number tonight in the Central Division bout between the Cavaliers and Bulls taking backup point guard Dennis Schroder over 3.5 assists. Schroder has been carving out a nice role for himself off the bench on a Cavaliers team that has been battling injuries for much of the season. He has gone over this number in three straight games while averaging 4.1 assists in March so far and Chicago giving up the most assists per game to point guards per game on the season. Schroder has only gone head-to-head once with the Bulls this season as a member of the Kings back on October 29 and although that was nearly 5 months back, he still had seven assists in that contest. The Cavaliers rank seventh in assist ratio this season with Chicago actually allowing the third most assists per game overall on the season as well. The Bulls just allowed five assists to Raptors backup point guard Jamal Shead last night and seven assists to Grizzlies backup point guard Cam Spencer in the game before that so let’s take Schroder to be a catalyst off the bench once again for Cleveland going over 3.5 assists at Chicago.
