The DC Defenders are last season champs but they only put up 10 points in Week 1 as QB Jordan Ta’amu went 9-of-16 for just 123 yards with 2 interceptions and was sacked 7 times. This second game should still see a bit of rust from him and this game should be a lower scoring one as they continue to figure out their offense. The Aviators, only scored 16 points in their first ever game in the UFL last week as they fumbled the ball and committed some turnovers, with QB Jalan McClendon in the role of a game manager rather than a game changer. Defenses are usually ahead of offenses at the beginning of the season, and this is usually a league wide trend in the beginning. DC’s offense is still searching for some rhythm after a brutal Week 1, while Columbus doesn’t have the proven firepower to push the pace in this game so the value lies in taking under the total.
