The Jays finally broke a six-game slide with a 2-1 win over the Mets in yesterday's series opener and I look for them to build off that victory.
The Mets fall to just 16-26 on the road this year.
The visitors hand the ball to Nolan McLean (4-5, 4.03 ERA), who got shelled for six runs off even hits over six innings in a loss to the Cubs in his most recent outing.
The home side counters with Kevin Gausman (4-6, 4.36), who is coming off a rough outing as well, but who has been much better at home this year by going 2-3 with a 3.72 ERA.
Expect Gausman to outduel his shaky counterpart at home and for the Jays to carry over yesterday's momentum.
