MLB | (969) New York Yankees at (970) Boston Red Sox | 7:15pm EDT - Jul 27/2024 |
The PLAY: 1H Boston Red Sox -115 K Crawford (RHP) Must Start
1H Boston Red Sox -115 K Crawford (RHP) Must Start:
Kutter Crawford has been very effective in both of his starts against the New York Yankees this season pitching 7 shutout innings against them on the road in July and holing them to only three runs across 6 IP at home in mid-June. Marcus Stroman hasn't been very reliable, and he allowed 4 runs on 7 hits and 4 walks across 5 IP against Boston on 6/16. The Yankees lineup hasn't been very reliable either, but they have hit righties well recently. However, the Red Sox have been even better as they rank #1 in wRC+, OBP & wOBA and #3 in ISO during the last 30 days. Saturday home games mean “City Connect” uniforms for the BoSox and they are nearly unstoppable when wearing the yellow and sky blue with a 7-2 record this season and 34-10 since they started wearing the uniforms in 2021. However, I don't trust the Red Sox bullpen with Chris Martin and Justin Slaten on the shelf, so we'll stick with the F5 ML.

NFL | Regular Season Wins | 1:00pm EDT - Sep 8/2024 |
The PLAY: New Orleans Saints OVER 7.5 Regular Season Wins (-120)
New Orleans Saints OVER 7.5 Regular Season Wins (-120):
The New Orleans Saints have the easiest strength of schedule in 2024 based on their opponents win percentage from 2023. Despite not looking completely comfortable early in the season, Derek Carr will benefit from having a full season in the Saints offense under his belt. Although he did seem to develop a solid chemistry with wide receivers Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed. Regardless they still managed to win 9 games last season while going 4-2 in the NFC South which is arguably the weakest division in the NFL. New Orleans also added impact rookies in offensive lineman Taliese Fuaga and cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry. Finishing a game below .500 at 8-9 shouldn't be too much to ask from a veteran-filled roster that will compete for the division.

New Orleans Saints OVER 7.5 Regular Season Wins (-120):
The New Orleans Saints have the easiest strength of schedule in 2024 based on their opponent's winning percentage from 2023. After not looking completely comfortable early in the season Derek Carr will benefit from having a full year of experience in the Saints offense. Although he did develop a nice rapport with wide receivers Chris Olave Rashid Shaheed during the last month of the 2023 campaign. Regardless the Saints still won 9 games last season while going 4-2 in the NFC South which is arguably the weakest division in the NFL. New Orleans also added impact rookies in the draft by selecting offensive lineman Taliese Fuaga and cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry. A game below .500 at 8-9 will cash this ticket which isn't much to ask for a veteran-filled roster that should compete for the division.
