Randy Vasquez is 4-1 with a 3.05 ERA for the Padres, while Emerson Hancock is 3-1 with a 3.21 ERA for the Mariners.
The Friars just lost two of three at Milwaukee, and I think they'll have trouble generating offense on the road in this interleague matchup as well.
The Mariners just took three of four at Houston, scoring 24 runs and allowing 10.
Look for that momentum at the plate to carry over in the opener of this difficult series.
