Krka literally beat Cedevita Olimpija 71-67 on September 17, just nine days before this rematch. More importantly, that wasn't a fluky meaningless friendly—it was the Slovenian Super Cup. Cedevita coach Zvezdan Mitrović said afterward that Krka had been the better team.
