Patrick Mahomes started off the season throwing an interception in 7 straight games (9 total) and 8 of his first 10 games. However, Mahomes has corrected that issue in a big way as he hasn't thrown a pick in eight straight games including both of his postseason games. Mahomes has now played 20 playoff games and he's only thrown an interception in five of those games with 8 total. The Philadelphia Eagles defense ranked middle of the pack in interceptions with 13 and they did pick off Jordan Love three times in the Wild Card round, but they only recorded one interception in their last two games against the Rams and Commanders. I'm fully expecting the Eagles to try and keep Mahomes off the field with the running game and this feels like a spot where we should trust Mahomes to throw it away when necessary.

The Eagles know the best way to play defense on Patrick Mahomes is to bleed the clock and keep him on the sideline. Steve Spagnola and the Chiefs defense loves to bring the pressure as they ranked 4th in blitz rate (31.6%) & 5th in press rate (26.1%) and that could force Hurts into making mistakes or running the ball himself.
