| CBB | (725) Charlotte U at (726) Tulsa: Spread | 8:00pm EST - Feb 18/2026 |
The PLAY: Charlotte U +13.5 (-115)
Charlotte lost to the Golden Hurricanes 86-74 on January 14 as 3.5-point home underdogs, which is significant because the 49ers apply to very good 98-55-1 ATS (64.1%) and 95-47-1 ATS (66.9%) college basketball systems of mine that date to 2004 and invest on certain .501 or greater conference road underdogs with same-season revenge for a loss as home underdogs. Tulsa has a potent offense, averaging 85.6 points per game and ranked 21st nationally in scoring. However, college basketball teams averaging 82.4 or more points per game are 36-60-4 ATS (2017) in February affairs, provided one additional parameter is satisfied. This situation has been an even worse 16-42 ATS (27.6%) since the beginning of the 2021-22 season, failing to cover the spread by an average margin of -2.6 points per game. Finally, Tulsa is just 42-70-2 ATS (37.5%) following games as a favorite of fewer than six points against opponents with .292 or greater winning percentages, including 28-50-2 ATS (35.9%) since the beginning of the 2022-23 season, falling short of market expectations by an average margin of -2.7 points per game. Grab the points with Charlotte as Jeff Keim's Free Pick Winner for Wednesday, February 18.
