Chicago fell 5-4 in Boston last night as the Cubs went with a modified bullpen game, using Hayden Wesneski to open the contest with a bullpen platoon behind him. After losing 17-0 on Saturday, who is going to be available behind Jameson Taillon tonight? The Cubs had four pitchers throw 34+ pitches on Saturday and five throw 15+ pitches on Sunday. How many of them are going to be available and effective tonight? Taillon started the year on the IL after suffering a back injury in spring training. He's been very good in his first two starts this season, but he hasn't completed 6.0 innings yet. The Mets' bullpen got a nice breather on Sunday after Jose Quintana allowed one run in 8.0 innings. After a dreadful start to the season, Francisco Lindor has three home runs in his last four games. Luis Severino has allowed a total of five earned runs in his last four starts.
