These teams combined for only four runs through nine innings yesterday. I expect them to have more than that within the first half of Sunday's game. Gibson made his first start of the season last time out. It didn't go well, to say the least. In 3 2/3 innings, he allowed nine runs on 11 hits. Lorenzen has pitched well at home but is 1-3 with a 4.57 ERA on the road. His lone 2024 start against the O's finished with 11 runs, seven of those coming in the first five innings. Lorenzen gave up five runs in five innings. Look for the bats to come alive early in this one.
