Time to jump-start the new week with a big NBA Playoff winner on Monday night. This Over/Under opportunity qualifies as my No. 1 NBA EASTERN CONFERENCE TOTAL OF THE WEEK. Looking back finds me on a still-sizzling 29-18 short-term NBA run, but I'm also 105-83 with ALL of my pro hoops prognostications for the 2024/25 campaign. Vegas offers great value here to even up the series and take back the home ice advantage over the final three games. The Golden Knights average 3.3 goals per game, while allowing 2.6 this season, while Edmonton averages 3.2 and concedes 2.9 per contest.
Mark Stone was injured in the first period in Game 3 for Vegas, but Adin Hill did just enough to earn the win and Jack Eichel and company have plenty of playoff experience to lean upon in this situation.
Looks like "home ice" isn't going to mean much in this series in the early going.
