I think that Justin Verlander settles down here for San Francisco and easily gets the better of his inconsistent counterpart Kyle Freeland and the struggling Rockies, who are now just 1-14 on the road.
The Giants are 9-4 at home and they'll be hungry to return to form after dropping both games at San Diego earlier this week.
Freeland is 0-4 with a 5.93 ERA, while Verlander is 0-2 with a 4.70 ERA.
Freeland was shelled for six runs off ten hits in a loss to the Reds in his last outing, while Verlander took a hard-luck loss in his last outing, allowing two runs with five K's over six innings vs. the Pirates.
Look for San Francisco to not only win this game, but to do so in blowout fashion.
