This game features two decent pitchers that can stem a lot of each other’s offense alongside the bullpens for both. The Rangers struggle with their offense and they should struggle more against Wacha, while Leiter can keep the Royals off the scoreboard somewhat as the Royals offense can be hit and miss at times. There will be some runs, but this game should stay under the total in a lower scoring outing. The Royals tend to be an under team at home with a 24-38 O/U total for the season and have stayed under the total in four of their last five meetings against the Rangers. Leiter is also 2-6 to the under as a road underdog of +100 to +150 while Wacha’s last two starts versus Texas saw both games stay under the game total. Wacha and the team are also 0-5 to the under at home versus an AL team like Texas with a slugging percentage .410 or worse on the season.
