NFL | NFL Player Future (Passing Yards) | 8:00pm EDT - Sep 4/2025 |
The PLAY: Geno Smith OVER 3575.5 Passing Yards (-110)
Geno Smith OVER 3575.5 Passing Yards (-110):
Geno Smith is an underrated quarterback who quietly finished 4th in passing yards during the 2024 campaign with 4,320 yards. The Las Vegas Raiders liked what they saw as the traded for Smith while reuniting him with his old coach in Pete Carroll. Chip Kelly is the new offensive coordinator in Vegas, and his fast-paced passing attack should keep Smith busy. The Raiders also added weapons through the draft in RB Ashton Jeanty & WR Jack Bech and they already had two strong receiving threats in Brock Bowers & Jakobi Meyers. The key to this play is the fact that Geno Smith will be playing 12/17 regular season indoors where he's thrived throughout his career. In 14 indoor games as the Seahawks starting quarterback, Smith tossed 30 touchdowns with just 5 interceptions and an elite 110.8 passer rater. He even led the NFL for indoor completion percentage during the 2023 campaign and 2 of his 5 outdoor games will be played in the first three weeks of the regular season (NE & WAS) when the conditions are much more favorable. We have seen Smith throw for 3,600+ passing yards in three straight seasons and he will be leading the way for a high-powered offense that needs to throw ball to keep up with their divisional rivals.

CFB | (211) Alabama at (212) Florida State | 3:30pm EDT - Aug 30/2025 |
The PLAY: Alabama -13.5 (-108)
Alabama -13.5 (-108):
Both teams are coming off disappointing seasons, but Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer got some very inconsistent play out of his quarterback. But we have to remember that DeBoer took Washington to the National Championship in his 2nd season there. Ty Simpson has been named starting quarterback in Alabama and he features as a pocket passer that can give them some mobility. Simpson will be throwing to one of the best wide receiver cores in the country (Ryan Wiliams, Germie Bernard & Isaiah Horton) and he will be protected by an elite offensive line. Florida State had a major problem at offensive line last season, and they have a completely new unit that is learning a new system under OC Gus Malzahn. BC transfer Thomas Castellanos takes over at QB for the Seminoles, but the Alabama defense has retained enough talent to challenge his mobility. The Tide has the firepower to pull away in the 2nd half and cover a two-touchdown spread.
