The PLAY: Central Florida -110
Houston comes off a disappointing loss to West Virginia last time out as double digit chalk, so they will be motivated to get back in the win column here as that was embarrassing for them. That pretty much ends their hopes for a Big 12 title game spot and CFB Playoff berth. A big part of the loss was the turnover battle. The Cougars gave the ball away four times, including two interceptions and a fumble by quarterback Conner Weigman. They know they have to play better here.
UCF just got blownout 30-3 by Baylor, and they are hoping Tayven Jackson can play better than he did last week. Don't forget, the Knights blew out West Virginia 45-13 two weeks ago, the same team that just beat Houston. Seems fishy that a 7-2 team like Houston is basically a pickem vs a 4-4 UCF team, but the oddsmakers believe in UFC here and we think they turn it around and do well also.

The Eagles won the head-to-head last season 29-20, so App State has revenge here but this is a lot of points to lay for a Mountaineer team that is just not as dominant as they've been in years past, and we think Georgia Southern can hang tough here. Let's roll with the Eagles to keep it close.

Ball State has owned this matchup, winning three straight over Kent State, but this time, the Golden Flashes are out for payback. Kent State’s offense has shown life lately, putting up 24 vs Bowling Green and 42 vs UMass who is terrible, but still, they can definitely move the ball.
Ball State, meanwhile, leans on a strong rushing attack (143 yards per game) and will look to control tempo and wear down the Flashes defense. Both teams should find success offensively, setting up a classic midweek MAC shootout.

The Minutemen simply cannot keep pace with NCAAF teams if they get down and we think they get down here as well and the Zips likely win this by two TD's going away. UMass gives up 36ppg, so if that holds true can they score 26? They have only scored 26 once this season, so probably not. Let's roll with Akron here.
