This total is generously high. TCU's offense will be without its star QB and one of its best receivers. Facing a USC team which allowed just 10 points in its final game, scoring is going to be tough. The Horned Frogs' defense will need to step up. Both teams have allowed 23 or fewer points in four of their last five games. Two of the last three Alamo Bowls have finished with 50 or fewer points. This one should stay below the 55 mark.

I'm happy to be getting points but I expect the Golden Eagles to win this game outright. Seton Hall has the better overall record but the Pirates' 1-1 mark in Big East play is nothing special. They managed only 56 points in a loss in their last game. The Golden Eagles, 0-2 to start conference play, will be fighting like a cornered animal to avoid an 0-3 start. The Golden Eagles have won seven of the past eight meetings, including each of the past three. The Lone SH victory was in January 2024 and it came by just three points. Good up to -2 for Marquette.
