The PLAY: Cal Irvine -12.5 (-110)
I played on the Anteaters in each of their last two games. Those were the only two times that I played on them this season and they rewarded me by winning and covering both. They've found their rhythm just in time for the start of Big West play and I expect a third straight victory tonight. Cal Irvine figures to be the best team in the conference this season, or at least one of them, while Cal Riverside is likely going to take a step back. The Anteaters have won eight of the past 10 meetings, each of the past five at home. Last season's game here was an 81-57 blowout; the Highlanders were actually up 35-29 at halftime but the Anteaters outscored them 52-22 in the second half. This should be another one-sided affair. I like Cal Irvine up to -13.
