The PLAY: New York Rangers +101
I had a tough loss with the Rangers last game; they blew a third period lead and lost in OT. It was unfortunate that their #1 goalie (Shesterkin) got hurt early in the game. I won't blame the loss on the backup (Quick) though. He's still capable. Note that Quick is 8-3 with a 1.86 GAA and .923 save percentage vs the Sabres for his career. In home games against them, he's 7-1 with a 1.66 GAA and against .931 save percentage. So, I'm not overly concerned about the Rangers' goaltending tonight. The Rangers will miss Fox, which is a blow. However, they should get Miller back tonight which will provide a boost. They really need a victory on home ice and I like their chances of rallying for one this evening.
