Game 911
4:10 pm pst/7:10 pm est
After a 5-4 win over Boston on Thursday, Cleveland is 13-6 on the season. After starting the season just 1-7, Oakland is starting to run hot, winning seven of their last 11 games. Today Triston McKenzie (1-2, 6.23 ERA) and Joe Boyle (1-2, 5.68 ERA) are scheduled to start. The Guardians RH gave up six runs (five earned) on four hits and six walks over four innings last Saturday in an 8-2 loss to the Yankees. The A’s RH last Saturday, allowed one run on five hits and one walk over five innings in a 3-1 loss to the Nationals. And in three starts with Oakland last season, Boyle is 2-0 with a 1.69 ERA. The A’s are also better on the road (4-2) than the Guardians are at home (3-3). Oakland is also 5-1 on the road on the run line. I’ll take the A’s on the run line here.
