Milwaukee Brewers on the money line
Home Run Play
Game 903
5:15 pm pst/8:15 pm est
Milwaukee sits atop the NL Central at 11-6, while St. Louis is at the bottom at 9-10, and only separated by a 3-game gap. The major difference between the Brewers and Cardinals this season has been their offenses. Milwaukee’s offense has been hot and is currently among the leaders in all of MLB, while St. Louis has been in the bottom third. Today Freddy Peralta and Kyle Gibson are scheduled to start. Peralta who is 2-0 with a 2.55 ERA struck out 26 batters and walking two in 17 2/3 innings in three starts. The RH held the Orioles to one run on five hits over six innings, in an 11-1 victory, where he struck out 11 batters and walked none in his last start. Gibson who is 1-2, with a 6.16 ERA has struggled, allowing five homers in 19 innings over his three starts. And in eight career starts against the Brewers, the RH is 1-2 with a 5.44 ERA. This will be their first meeting against one another this season, but Milwaukee has taken five of the last six against St. Louis. The Brewers are also 7-2 on the road, while the Cardinals are just 3-3 at home this campaign. I’ll take Milwaukee on the money line.
