The Tigers LH, who leads the majors in WHIP at 0.87 and ranks second in strikeouts (200), and ERA, is 11-3, with a 2.32 ERA. And in nine career starts against the Athletics, he is 4-2, with a 3.00 ERA. Skubal is also 2-1, with a mere 1.19 ERA in four starts at the Coliseum. Ginn on the other hand, is just 2-5, with a 4.95 ERA. The RH is winless in four August starts, going 0-3, with a whopping 7.88 ERA. He also struggles against the Tigers, going 0-1, with a 6.43 ERA in two career appearance against them.
