The PLAY: Total Under 7.5 (-113) A Abbott (LHP), N Pivetta (RHP) Must Start
This is a FREE PLAY on the UNDER Reds/Padres.
The Padres saw their three-game win streak come to an end in last night's 4-2 setback. The first two games of this series have both gone UNDER the posted number as far as the total is concerned, and with two great starters squaring off in the finale, I think that runs will once again be at a premium.
The Reds hand the ball to Andrew Abbott (8-6, 2.88 ERA), while the home side counters with Nick Pivetta (13-5, 2.85 ERA.
These guys have been stingy all year, as Abbott sports a 1.15 WHIP and Pivetta has a tiny 0.96 WHIP.
It's hard to see either of these struggling offenses doing much against these starters, so I think that the UNDER is once worth a "second look" between these teams tonight.
Good luck, NP
