NFL | (463) Miami Dolphins at (464) Carolina Panthers | 1:00pm EDT - Oct 5/2025 |
The PLAY: Total Under 45.5 (-115)
Miami has won-and-covered each of the last two meetings, with the last one being a 42-21 home win as a 14-point favorite in October 2023. Carolina has struggled this season, but three of the Panthers' first four games have been played on the road. Since Week 9 of last season, Carolina is 6-1 against the spread at home including an outright upset win over the Falcons in Charlotte two weeks ago. We like the under in this contest. Miami is traveling on a short week after playing on Monday Night Football, and the Dolphins now have to gameplan for life without Tyreek Hill. Carolina QB Bryce Young was benched in favor of Andy Dalton in last week's loss to the Patriots after Young was only able to generate 5.0 yards per pass attempt. The Panthers' defense has actually performed better than expected this season, but Carolina's offense and special teams unit have not given them any help. The Patriots returned one punt for an 87-yard touchdown last week and then returned another one 61 yards to set up another short touchdown. If the Panthers' special teams can get that under control, the defense has been good enough to keep Carolina competitive. Play the Under.

CFB | (359) Michigan State at (360) Nebraska | 4:00pm EDT - Oct 4/2025 |
The PLAY: Total Over 48.5 (-109)
Michigan State has won the last two meetings, but the Spartans and Huskers did not play last year. Both teams are coming off a bye week and both teams suffered tough losses prior to the bye. We're looking at the over in this contest. Nebraska's last three games have gone over their respective totals by an average of 12.5 points per game. Michigan State's last three games have gone over their respective totals by an average of 22.3 points per game. Since 2011, there have been 14 Big Ten conference games that have featured two teams on a three-game over streak. When those teams meet, the over has gone 10-4. Matt Rhule's teams at Temple and Baylor each showed great improvement on offense in his third year at the helm. That appears to be the case again in Lincoln with Rhule in his third season. Play the Over.
