Both of these teams should simplify things & keep it on the ground for different reasons and that will lead to less possessions with the clock running. Cooper Rush will be starting at quarterback in place of Lamar Jackson and the Ravens starting left tackle is questionable. The Ravens defense is also riddled with injuries, and their best bet is riding Derrick Henry. Unfortunately for Baltimore, they are facing a Houston Texans defense that has allowed the LEAST points on the season with only 12.8 per game and they just shutout the Tennessee Titans last week. They held Jacksonville (17) & the LA Rams (14) under this line and Tampa Bay finished with 20 points exactly on a touchdown in the last 3 minutes of the game. The Texans pass defense has been elite as they rank 6th in passing yards allowed with only 178.3 per game. Cooper Rush is going to struggle to get anything going through the air especially without the proper pass protection. CJ Stroud hasn't been very sharp, and he's already thrown three interceptions. I don't see why Houston wouldn't stick with a simple game plan and look to beat Baltimore with defense and a ground attack that emerged last week as Woody Marks set season highs with 69 yards on 17 carries.
