The Devils have always played the Canadiens tough, especially at home, and have won six of their last seven meetings against them. They are also 6-0 straight up at home overall, however, Montreal is in better form and are playing much better right now. Montreal has won five of their last six road games and this is a nice revenge spot for the Canadiens as they go into New Jersey and get a tough road win in that building. There is just better value with taking the better road team in this spot.
