| CFB | (335) Purdue at (336) Michigan | 7:00pm EDT - Nov 1/2025 |
The PLAY: Michigan -20.5 (-110)
The Wolverines should win comfortably on Saturday afternoon. They've won five of their past six and each of the last three wins came by double-digits. The Wolverines have also beaten the Boilermakers six straight times; the most recent meeting was a 41-13 destruction. Purdue, 0-6 its last six overall, is winless on the road and is prone to struggling on both sides of the ball. The Boilermakers gave up 56 in a loss at Notre Dame and they scored 0 in their loss at Northwestern.
Determined to snap its losing streak, Purdue really left it all on the field last game. It looked good, too. The Boilermakers were up by 10 in the second half and they were still leading by three late in the fourth quarter. It wasn't meant to be; Rutgers kicked two late field goals to earn a 27-24 comeback win. That's going to be a tough loss to bounce back from and the Boilermakers will be vulnerable to getting blown out. Lay the points.

| NHL | (11) Pittsburgh Penguins at (12) Minnesota Wild | 8:07pm EDT - Oct 30/2025 |
The PLAY: Minnesota Wild -162
I watched Tuesday's Flyers/Penguins game pretty closely. To their credit, the Penguins did show some life at the end of the game and in OT. However, they were badly outplayed for much of the game. They've had a day off since but the oldest team in the league has still been playing a lot of hockey lately. The Pens miss Rickard Rakell. A key offensive performer, Rakell led the team with 35 goals last season. Off four straight losses, the Wild will be a desperate team. The Wild nearly beat the Jets last time out. Minnesota coach John Hynes commented: “I thought the process of the game was a lot better, more indicative of how we can play in the type of game we need to be able to play to win. And so, I think when you get in a situation where you’re trying to find a way to win games, I think that that process is important. And I thought we got more of that tonight." I feel that a similar effort will lead to an important victory for the Wild on Thursday.
