NFL | (465) Dallas Cowboys at (466) New York Jets | 1:00pm EDT - Oct 5/2025 |
The PLAY: New York Jets +2.5 (-108)
In watching the Jets loss at Miami, there were some positives. The Jets running game particularly impressed. They ran the ball 28 times for 197 yards. Three of their four losses were by five or less. Two of those were by just two points. So, they certainly could have won at least one of those, if not two or even three. The only team to beat them badly was Buffalo. The Cowboys are 0-2 on the road; their last road game was a 31-14 loss at Chicago. I expect a desperate NY team to dig deep and get its first win.

CFB | (397) UNLV at (398) Wyoming | 7:00pm EDT - Oct 4/2025 |
The PLAY: Wyoming +3.5 (-109)
The Cowboys won their first two games before dropping their last two. Those came vs Utah and at Colorado though. Those were always going to be tough. UNLV is a team they should match up better against. The Rebels are playing their second straight on the road. Off a 3-point win, three of their four wins have been by a touchdown or less. That includes a 7-point home win over Idaho State, a game in which the Rebels were favored by 30 points. The Cowboys are 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS the past six times that the hosted the Rebels. In what should be a close one, let's grab the points.
