2023 NFL Combine Betting Analysis
The 2023 NFL Combine begins Tuesday, February 28th, but player testing does not begin until Thursday, March 2nd.
All position groups will go through rounds of tests so NFL teams can get an understanding of each player’s athletic traits and medicals.
Today, we are focusing on the 40-yard dash, and Sportsmemo’s 2022 No. 1 NFL Handicapper Eric Pauly has a PrizePick entry for you.

2023 NFL Combine: Prize Picks Betting Info
For those of you that are unfamiliar with PrizePicks, the concept is simple. You can create an “entry” by selecting if a player will go over or under their prop line on an event.
Payouts are fixed, so a three-leg PrizePick will always payout 5x. You can add up to 6 props in a single entry.
Also, if you are doing an entry of 4, 5, or 6 props, you can elect to make it a “flex play.” A flex play means you lower the payout but have a cushion if one of the props does not hit.
Parris Johnson Jr. OL, Ohio State – Under 5.03 Seconds
Parris Johnson is a physical specimen, and he will wow scouts at the combine with his size, strength, and mobility. Listed at 6’6’’ and 311 pounds before the combine, Johnson is looking to lock himself into the top 10 of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Johnson has been clocked in at running the 40-yard dash at 5.05 seconds, but I expect him to beat this time in Indianapolis.
Mobility in offensive linemen is huge, and if Johnson can shave .02 seconds off his time, he will sneak into the top 10 players drafted this season.
Anthony Richardson QB, Florida – Under 4.45 Seconds
It is no secret that Anthony Richardson’s athleticism is one of a kind. While Richardson had ball placement and accuracy issues during his time at UF, his athleticism always stood out on tape.
While this time is already low, I expect Richardson to go under this number. Richardson has the most to prove of any QB during the combine.
He has been training for combine drills since the season ended, so he should be sharp during testing. Richardson has some buzz to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, and putting up a 40-yard dash time under 4.45 seconds will bolster his draft stock.
Bijan Robinson RB, Texas – Under 4.5 Seconds
Despite his position, Robinson is viewed as a top-10 overall talent in this year’s draft class. His tape is incredible, and he is by far the best running back in this class.
He has self-reported 40-yard dash times sub 4.5 seconds, and he shows out in Indianapolis. Robinson can make the case for being a first-round pick when he showcases his burst this weekend in front of scouts and coaches.
PrizePicks is currently available in AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, KS, KY, MA, MI, MN, NE, NM, NC, ND, NY, OK, OR, RI, SC, SD, TX, UT, VT, VA, WI, WY, and all of Canada besides Ontario. In most of the places PrizePicks operates in, you have to be 18+ years of age to play. You have to be 19+ in Alabama and 21+ in Arizona and Massachusetts.
