Milwaukee Brewers vs San Diego Padres Analysis
After getting swept in a three-game series on the road in St. Louis, the Padres travel to Milwaukee to take on another NL Central foe.
The Brewers split their last series against the Cubs but they dropped the final two games of the series. The Brewers have a 2-1 edge in the season series vs the Padres and tonight marks the start of the final four times these teams will play this year.
The Brewers are -108 home favorites, the run line is 1.5, and the total is set at 8 runs.
San Diego Padres Betting Preview
The Padres come into this series against the Brewers after being 4-6 in their last 10 games. San Diego is 17-10 in road games this year and they are 30-20 overall.
The Padres are in 2nd place in the NL West and are three games behind the Dodgers for first place. As an underdog on the run line this season, the Padres are 13-6.
Sean Manaea will make the start for the Padres tonight. Manaea is 2-3 with a 4.02 ERA, a 1.11 WHIP, and a 3.88 FIP. The Padres are 4-5 in games Manaea has started this season.
Over his last three outings, Manaea has allowed 10 runs on 15 hits over 20 innings. He struck out five in his last two starts and had a season-high 12 strikeouts against Atlanta on 5/14. The Brewers have a .648 OPS vs lefties this season.
Milwaukee Brewers Betting Preview
The Brewers split their last series against the Cubs and are 6-4 in their last 10 games. Milwaukee is 14-6 on their home field this season and is 32-20 overall. The Brewers hold a two-game lead over the Cardinals for first place in the NL Central.
Adrian Houser will make the start for the Brewers tonight against the Padres. Houser is 3-5 on the season with a 3.69 ERA, a 1.38 WHIP, and a 3.73 FIP.

Milwaukee Brewers vs San Diego Padres Prediction
For the first game of this four-game series between the Padres and the Brewers, I expect the game to go under the total of eight runs.
The Brewers, as a team, have the 2nd best ERA at home in the National League and the Padres have an OPS of just .639 vs righties this season. Manaea should bounce back this start and hold the Brewers to under three runs. For my full card today, check out my handicapper profile on Sportsmemo.
